A set of outdoor game ideas to strengthen your relationship with nature

In the app you will find game ideas that aim to strengthen your relationship with nature. The phenomenon common to all activities is minimal aids, but more often there are no aids and generally low preparation requirements as well. The application offers such activities, which are mainly aimed at developing the ability to focus on nature, be attentive to details and units, reflect its aesthetic value and strengthen its perception as an attractive place.

Here rummy circleyou will find less sophisticated and complex games and games, but always those whose main objective is experience, not a specific skill or final product. We've chosen activities for everyone from young children to adults, as well as more demanding and longer experiential games to use on camps.

The individual games are organized so that they can be classified according to the sense you choose to use to perceive nature (sight, touch, hearing, smell and taste or combinations) and according to the element (fire, earth, water, ar) that you want payment. All directions and elements are predefined. However, you must choose the environment (stream, pond, forest, meadow, rock), you can specify the weather or time of day (night, snow and ice, rain) and the seasons.

The challenging task was to find the authors' individual games and activities. We often play with children in nature with changes over decades, and when we search the literature, we can't figure out which author mentioned the activity first.

The main authors still influencing Czech environmental education on the topic of sensitivity to nature are Steve van Matre and Bruce Johnson and their walks on Earth, and then Joseph Cornell and his best-seller Discovering Nature. We have been playing your games in various variations with children for decades. They are described in detail in these publications, so we will refer to them. Other ideas come from workshops by Chaloupek, Rezekvítek, Lipka or NORTH, others taken from older publications.
